Design Principles 05.2.2023 - 22.3.2023 Johnny Lam Wee Zhe (0363436) Bachelor of Design in Creative Media  INSTRUCTIONS   PROJECT 3 - DESIGN For the final project, we are tasked to create a design based on the reference image and selected SDG as well as applying basic design principle to the design. It is of utmost importance that the final design should have a connection or seem to be inspired by the reference design. Sketches I started out with doing a sketch of the original reference material as a starting point of my inspiration. I wrote down a brief text on the side to determined what is to be added for the final design: "Pandemic Makes Rich Man Richer". I first sketch out the idea of a rich man surrounded by viruses and is protected by a mask made out of cash. It is an explanation and description of visual structure. Visual analysis helps to acknowledge the choices that the designer makes as well as understanding the message of the design and how it send out the message. There are three phases of a visual analysis: observation, analysis and interpretation. Observation Observation is define as describing the design and artwork as it is.
