PRACTICAL CONSULTATION

SKETCHES
I have actually made a mistake. Supposedly, we are suppose to fill in information as part of the idea development process last week. Although I have written last week's work as done on last week's blog but I actually done this this week. I have taken reference pictures and do the sketches before filling in the form so I take a step back, fill in the form and start looking for reference and sketch out ideas again.

Here is the sketches I have made before filling in the firm:

DIGITIZATION
The first step to before beginning digitization is to collect the elements I needed for the poster including a photo shoot of me. Here is the photo shoot of me:

At the time of the consultation, I still have not finish my poster and I just show Mr. Fauzi my progress that I have at the time. Here is the progress at the time:

To my surprise, Mr Fauzi has given an approval and says that the poster is ready to be animated. I however don't think it's done just yet as the poster has not reflect my vision. So I continue to edit the poster further; adding lighting and text to the poster. Here is the next result:

 I rearranged the text on the poster once more and this is my final result:

I really quite enjoyed this part of the process of making the poster with everything I have learnt from these past weeks and I am quite proud of what I have made. Just think that in the beginning, I pretty much forgot how to use Photoshop and now this class has help me get back on track, maybe even get better at it. The consultation for this week got me thinking that sometimes, you have to go against the mentor and achieve your vision. Despite given the green light to continue, I still went ahead an edit the poster until I am satisfied. It is also important to know when you should listen and when to follow your own instinct.
