Motion Graphics and Composition - Week 5

 Motion Graphics and Composition 3.4.2023 Johnny Lam Wee Zhe (0363436) Bachelor of Design in Creative Media PRACTICAL For this exercise, I'll start of with making the poster in the photo shop and move it around experimentally. My initial idea is to use the television picture to show some contents on the screen. Here is what I have: Fig 1.1 Still-Image Poster   Following the tutorials, I put the in Adobe After effect and apply the advance layering and add animated text onto the poster. Once I'm done, I add in the sounds into the video and here are my results: Fig 1.2 Composition Video Although I have learnt this practice from the previous module, it is nice to have a revision on how to work on layers in adobe after effect.    

Motion Graphics and Compositing - Week 1

Digital Photography and Imaging 3.4.2023 Johnny Lam Wee Zhe (0363436) Bachelor of Design in Creative Media PRACTICAL For the first week of Motion Graphics and Compositing, we are tasked with find three of our favorite motion graphics and give some explanation about the effect feature in pinterest. Here is the three motion graphics that speaks out to me. The first motion graphics I like is this IKEA made Dribbble user named Sharmila. The repetitive pattern of the motion graphics where both the front and back side of the furnitures sets move in and out, as the letters flipped. There is a singular ceiling lamp on the side of the IKEA that move left and right as the letter rotates, which help give the illusion of the graphics orientation flipping.
