Animation Fundamentals 22.4.2023 - 10.5.2023 Johnny Lam Wee Zhe (0363436) Bachelor of Design in Creative Media     Project 1A - Character Design In the first part of the first project in Animation Fundamentals, we are tasked with designing a character for our project as well as any future works from this module. Before beginning the design, I would have to plan out the character's overall aesthetic and personality. Here is the initial description, I have come up with.    Fig.1 Brief Character Description   As I imagined this character being the the big guy of the team, I decide to find character reference that has a square figure which is often noted to be strong, stable and reliable. This is the character I'm planned to reference in terms of body type: Fig 2. Fisherman Character I have also used another reference to bring in my character's feature including facial ha...

Fig 1. Parametrix Equilizer Adjustment For each of the audios, a screenshot of the adjustment made will have to be captured. Here are the adjustment for each audio.   Adjustment for EQ-1   Fig 2.1 Adjustment for EQ-1 (3/5/2024 Week 2)   Adjustment for EQ-2   Fig 2.2 Adjustment for EQ-2 (3/5/2024 Week 2)   Adjustment for EQ-3   Fig 2.3 Adjustment for EQ-3 (3/5/2024 Week 2) Exercise 2 For our second exercise, we are given sample line for our base and then, convert them into different scenarios: bathroom, closet, stadium...

3D Modelling 22.4.2023 - 10.5.2023 Johnny Lam Wee Zhe (0363436) Bachelor of Design in Creative Media LECTURE Week 1 - Briefing (and General Explanation) The first week of the module includes a briefing about what this module is all about and role that 3D modelling play in a creative media industry. It is said that it is part of a production process of 3D modelling alongside animation. Mr. Kamal has included the link on where Blender can be downloaded, here: https://www.blender.org/download/ He has encourage us not to limit ourselves to singular 3D modelling usage especially when the gaming industry modelling is different from an animation industry modelling. He also explain how special effects industry require a high poly model and gaming industry uses low poly while an animation industry uses both low and high poly model.   Another thing to not is that there are two types of rendering: real time rendering and  non real time rendering. Real time rendering uses GPU of th...
