LECTURE
During week 4, there is no class at the time due to a public holiday so the
lecture for that week gets push back and we learn this on week 6. Here, we get
to learn additional features of Photoshop. We learn to use adjustment layers
and filters.
Adjustment Layers - Adjustment layers are a non destructive photo editing
tool, the layer can be deleted to revert the photo back it's original
appearance.

Property panels show a specific type of adjustment you want to select such
as exposure, brightness, selective color and etc.
Brightness and Contrast - Brightness adjust the highlight of the
photo and contrast adjust the shadow.
Level - Adjust the level of mid tones, shadows and highlight.
Curves - Allows you to adjust several points at once and much more
precise in editing the tone of an image.
Exposure - Exposure lets you adjust exposure levels with three
sliders: Exposure, Offset and Gamma. Exposure adjust the highlight of the
photo, Offset adjust mid tone while Gamma adjust dark tones only.
Selective Color - Selectively modify a primary color without
affecting the other colors.
In addition to adjustment layer, we also learn about filters. Filter are
special feature that can be use add effects such as change color, add blurs
or custom image effect.
